Welcome to MEDelivery ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Mundus Marais Kraft. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which we collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users (each, a "User") of the MEDelivery mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Identification Information: We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our app, register on the app, place an order, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number.

Location Data: For Delivery Partners (Drivers), we collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you enable us to do so. We collect this data when the app is running in the foreground or background to enable delivery tracking and order dispatching. For Customers, we collect location data to track your order and facilitate delivery.

Payment Information: We process payments through a secure third-party payment processor (Paystack). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

Third-Party Infrastructure: We utilize trusted third-party cloud infrastructure providers, such as Supabase for secure database hosting and Mapbox for location routing, to process and store data necessary for operating our Service.

3. How We Use Collected Information

MEDelivery collects and uses User personal information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service: Including facilitating and tracking food deliveries.
• To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
• To process payments: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
• To send periodic emails or notifications: We may use the email address or phone number to send User information and updates pertaining to their order.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our app.

5. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and all associated personal data. You may initiate an account deletion request directly within the MEDelivery app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account, or by submitting a written request to mundusmk.support@gmail.com.
